Aly Jae (or simply Aly) was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois specifically the south suburbs. Aly has always been a huge fan of acting and singing. She dreamed of one day becoming a huge performer and actress. Kind of like Beyonce'. She participated in dozens of plays growing up, but really found that her specialty was public speaking. Aly had always been fascinated in makeup since she was a younger girl. Her mother sold Mary Kay during her childhood years and she would play with the samples that her mom gave her. Little did she know, all of this was setting the foundation for what is going on today.
Aly started her professional makeup career in 2008 by taking a position as a Counter Manager for Clinique. Through Clinique, she learned a lot about skincare and makeup application. This is part of the reason she swears by Clinique today. Aly rebooted her makeup career in 2015, after her students that she coaches convinced her to start back up. From there, she started her YouTube channel and the rest is history. Aly is a member of Ipsy Open Studios, a group that assists in Beauty Blogging Careers. Aly dreams of taking her blogging career to the next level, and taking those who have similar dreams and goals along with her.
